Camping: What's the Harm?
|
Yeah, well, not all of my friends have quite realized the "atheistic" part of "humanistic Jew" so I forgive her for her sudden painful realization that I don't believe in her silly god-boy, as well as the shock of PZ's unforgiving language about organized religion.
There was another atheist commenting on the same topic who is also friends with her so I think the shock was more about PZ's dismissal than anything else. PZ won't mind. RE: Camping: What's the Harm?

Can I just get this straight.. religion, and specifically my flavour, Christianity, has had committed in it's name the most abhorrent crimes against humanity imaginable, in my opinion. And although I consider all of it to be anti Christ, I don't fool myself that it wasn't the ambitions of over zealous but sincere followers who were so badly wrong. And that can still happen today, at all levels. People are just useless sometimes.
Generally I don't like mocking those worse off than myself, except in jest. I have things I'm good at, other people excel at other things. I respect the difference. It's a shame our blissful positivity has to be sullied by you dirty non believers Hell I thought camping was what promiscuous gays practiced |
