You know those tire traps you see in army movies, where trainees have to run through a series of them? That's basically what trail running here is, except instead of tires you're putting your feet down between roots. And rocks. And fallen limbs. Or you run on those obstacles, and pretend you're a Mirkwood elf - joking about that doesn't make it less true. My calves feel like shit because I'm running on my toes half the time.
Also its hard to tell from this perspective, but this is actually a rise in the ground and goes to the height of half a flight of stairs. Not pictured are the three which are twice that height, two also root bound and the third made of a tumble of rocks.
Skyfloof! Looks muggy. I likes me some cirrus, myself.
Boy, in the double oughts back in Pennsylvania, I loved photography, even just with a disposable. I need to get back into that and show off the 'hood like yous are.

My lil' nugget of SWNC was a bit different. In the hills (Southern Blue Ridge), so Highlands got cool a fair amount. Never been to the Triangle, Triad, Or CLT. I reckon the coast would be really hairy, with all those storms.

I am basically training for the zombie outbreak.
Also we had lots of skyfloof.
Keep them knees high like a hyperactive band majorette!
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.
