I no longer remember what the world looked like before Trump's fucking face was burned semi-permanently into my retinas.

Maybe Americans will finally taste bitter

You've been snacking on Americans? Pretty sure most of us taste like curry and tacos...

Mmm, tasty 'muricans.

I'll be glad when this shit is over with, and we can try to get the friends we lost back over a stupid political election.

well, i am pro choice, pro education, and am for taxing the wealthy, and for expanding social security. Hilary is for all of that.

Taxing the wealthy won't pay for the expansion of social security. We spend more per student than countries that kick our asses in standardized tests given to teenagers and there's fuck all a President can do to influence challenge so to Roe v. Wade.

My point is that the POTUS election amounts to nothing more than a popularity contest. Any proposed solutions will have to be navigated through Congress, which neither is capable of doing. I'll build a wall. I'll ensure you can go to college debt free. Both are equally unrealistic, but are the sort of promises that influence votes.

The problems we have are more complex than a simple promise will resolve. The POTUS can have influence, but neither of these idiots have the leadership capabilities to affect change.
