Solid evidence of -what-...lol? You don't need evidence for beliefs, ask the christers, lol. You;d need evidence for knowledge, perhaps...but that would be the agnostic/gnostic portion, not the atheist/theist portion. There are no "sides" McNubbins, the term only refers to your personal state of belief, not the accuracy of anyones personal state of belief, lol. You don't believe, therefore you're an atheist...a person who does not believe, even if you are -also- an agnostic, a person who does not know.

Hence, agnostic atheist.

No solid evidence of whether or not a God exists. Notice the "or not" part there.

Again, one-sided. I don't believe, but I also don't not believe.

To clarify that point: Christianity is not well-defined. You can make it into whatever you want, and call it Christianity. There is no authority that can say otherwise.

Atheism/theism are well defined. (Once you've finished agreeing what the words mean.)

Not necessarily. The basis of Christianity, always has been, is the acceptance of Jesus Christ, and the acceptance of His life, ministry, death, and resurrection. Sure, Mormonism has added onto it, but it still has that basis. But I'm just reading way to into the lines now, apologies.

Well to start off "neither a theist nor non-theist" literally makes as little sense as "neither married nor unmarried".

This is different to being a Christian. All you need to do to be a Christian is to say you're a Christian. What you actually believe is of no relevance. Christianity is a club of sorts; atheism is not.

But my new new version doesn't include anything about that. This is a denomination that worships an onion, which is the true Christ. I can call all other Christians "not true Christians" just as they will say the same to me. Legally, I'm a Christian; and that's the only sense in which it makes any difference.

If you don't have a belief in god, Riddle, then you're an atheist, lol. That's all the word means. A person who doesn't believe in god.

If Christians had to actually believe the stuff they said they believe, then there would hardly be any, and there's no way to tell the difference short of a brain scan or something.

But since they can claim to believe whatever they want and call it Christianity, I'm not going to argue with any of them.
