It is OK to be a messed up kid if your parents are messed up. You will have trouble in life if your dad is an abusive alcoholic. But , at a certain age you have to get over it and take responsibility for your own troubles. Stop blaming mom and dad. If at 25-30 years old you are still blaming them , we call that dysfunctional.
