Why should my hard earned money go to those less fortunate?

To say that the less fortunate are not allowed to eat decent food or even treat themselves when they can actually afford to is just absolutely disgusting. Why should the unemployed and the working poor be forced to live on fucking instant noodles or whatever?
I certainly hope you never end up in that position, LPW but it might open your eyes a bit to the struggles of those who aren't as well off as you are. You really ought to be ashamed of yourself. YES!! Someone with a lack of employment should not be allowed to eat steak and expensive foods from our tax payer dollars. Pleasure, comfort, enjoyment and entertainment are not rights!!! So you wish for the unemployed to suffer for the crime of being unemployed? Didn't we try this before in Britain with debtors prison? Slave to the Patriarchy no more
Indeed.

By the way, most of the people on assistance are children. Their parents work, but need assistance because minimum wage isn't enough to sustain a family.
