What Does/Does Not Offend You?

RE: What Does/Does Not Offend You?
I don't even have a garden.

So feel free to call me an uncultured swine in a Mr. Potato Head voice.

Just grass. The surrounding fence had a built up garden bed along the sides and it had been cemented over.
As an avid gardener I was deeply offended and I can't help but think that the occupants are lazy, uncreative, boring arseholes  that should go and live in the industrial area of town.

This is unrelated to the original post but you just reminded me of this fucking CRAZY taxi driver I used to have.

Everytime we'd drive past this tree in someone's garden that they had trimmed and he'd go fucking ballistic that these people had trimmed their tree because it was a rare tree in Britain.  Seriously shouting at the top of his voice "Everytime we have to pass this fucking tree it pisses me right OFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!"

It was a monkeypuzzler apparently.  It didn't take much to set him off.

So anyway, you're not the only one offended by gardening related things.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

Nothing except actions are capable of offending me. Humans abusing animals, and that includes other humans, offends me.

I honestly can't think of anything I'm offended by. I don't really even identify with that feeling.
“Love is the only bow on Life’s dark cloud. It is the morning and the evening star. It shines upon the babe, and sheds its radiance on the quiet tomb. It is the mother of art, inspirer of poet, patriot and philosopher.

It is the air and light of every heart – builder of every home, kindler of every fire on every hearth. It was the first to dream of immortality. It fills the world with melody – for music is the voice of love.

Love is the magician, the enchanter, that changes worthless things to Joy, and makes royal kings and queens of common clay. It is the perfume of that wondrous flower, the heart, and without that sacred passion, that divine swoon, we are less than beasts; but with it, earth is heaven, and we are gods.” - Robert. G. Ingersoll

I can't abide child abuse or animal abuse.

Also, pedants who point out dumb, meaningless little mistakes. Smile

Also, the neighbor who keeps blocking my front sidewalk with his huge-ass truck. I'm on a cranky roll here...

It mostly depends on my mood i guess. Sometimes any little thing offends me while at other times i feel so distant and detach from my own emotions that nothing really phases me.

I'm not offended by much of anything, but I am squeamish. But that's different.

Depends on the subject and delivery.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

This thread triggered me! DELETE IT AND APOLOGIZE NOW!!!
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
