One mythology's as good as another

Grandma accidentally prays to Elrond from Lord of the Rings
Quote:The woman thought she was praying to Saint Anthony but it turns out the figure was Elmond [sic], Lord of Rivendell.
Her relative Gabriela Brandao made the discovery and posted it on Facebook with the caption: "The funniest discovery of 2016."
Separated at birth? They
are wearing the same outfit.
Maybe Bergoglio should canonise Hugo Weaving, instead of that emaciated Albanian fraud?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Oh dear, having another God before the right one is a serious infraction indeed.
I'm curious, however, did Elrond approve the request ??
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

You know, I wonder if there would be a market for a book called "Starting your own mythology for the complete dummy"?

And we'll shortly have Drich and/or GC in here doing just that.

At least Elrond is a respectable improvement.

I've started my cult and have already practised Miscavige-style "Shermanspeak". Observe:
Follow the path of true planetary enlightenment through Transcendelectricity. More to the point and in precision, only the doctrines of Transcendelectricity, first laid out by the visionary scientist, prophet, master chef and medium Alex K in 2017, directly lead to hitherto unprecedented brain improvement rates in test subjects across all cultures and perspectives, pointing in upwards-exploding directionality at an increase of by up to 1000% in not only national but furthermore worldwide comparison including Asia, Europe and Oceania, with infinite growth rate in January 2017 alone, making Transcendelectricity the fastest growing religion in planetary history.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
