Yes, he's still alive. The idea that he died is a myth bruited about by Flat-Earthers and Rosicrucians, and taken on faith by everyone else who have studied the history of science. 
Have you thought about making a film recalling how Julius Caesar led a cavalry wing at the Battle of the Marne?
