But yet you feel the need to ascribe some kind of nebulous super-technology to our own ancestors in order to build the simplest of all large structures, the pyramid.  FWIW, most of the blocks making up Khufu's pyramid weight about one tonne.  This is not an insurmountable problem for a gang of a dozen workers equipped with ropes and log rollers.

The ancient alien conspiracy crap fails for the same reason God does. Here you have a claimed being/and as with the superior intelligence in both cases, the claimed superior thinkers cant seem to get those with less knowledge on up to the same pace and same page they are.

God, "I blink everything into existence, but take billions of years to get humans to even start cities and writing, then only then do I get them to write books for me, and even after that, take thousands of years to compile them while people murder each other over the varying interpretations and versions."

Little Green men, " We visited earth from hundreds of billions of miles outside of earth's solar system just so the Egyptians and Mayans and Greeks could build things with stone and wood."

Any major secular college with legal accreditation if it was only passing 1 person out of 30 in any given class would loose it's legal status and go out of business.

Jet Blue and United Airlines, "I have a great idea, lets only hire airplane mechanics and pilots and only teach them Wright Brothers technology."

It is bullshit just like god claims. Humans fall for both conspiracies and try to mix modern knowledge trying to retrofit it after the fact working mentally backwards to justify the conspiracy.

I've seen video of people moving multi-ton stone blocks with neolithic tools. It can be done. Similarly, students at Indiana University laid three courses of stones the same dimension as those used in the Great Pyramid. They did so using people power only, no modern techniques or tricks. If a bunch of frat boys can do this we don't need alien help.

Ancient Aliens Drinking Game;
Every time they attribute something to the 'supernatural' take a shot.

Every time they say "we don't know" take a shot.
Every time they say "we can't do that now" take a shot.
Every time they say "...even with modern technology..." take a shot.

The only problem with the Giza Pyramids is that no one has figured out what kind of ramp they used.  A single ramp would have used more material than the pyramid itself and a ramp which wraps around the edges would have obscured the corners making it impossible for the architects to get accurate measurements.
I have a suspicion but no one is going to take a pyramid apart to test it out!

I imagine they'd overshape the corner stones and shave them down as need to get the angle they desired. Easier to remove stone than put it back. Overshaping would allow wider turns on the corners as well.

I thought the Egyptians dismantled the outer layer of the pyramids themselves.
Not like we 'salvaged' monoliths and circles ourselves...
