Funny story for this pic. Asleep this morning, I was dreaming. I dreamt I was driving to work, on the Interstate with my window down about halfway, when I drove under a huge flock of birds. YUGE. And being birds, they were busy shitting on us mere terrestrials. It was raining birdshit, and of course some came through my window and got on my dashboard and workshirt.

So after waking up from this dream, and puttering around for a little bit, I'm getting ready for work, taking lunch out to my truck. Now, I leave my windows open about 2" so that when I get in I'm not sitting down in a greenhouse. As soon as I opened the door, lots of fluttering ... a Carolina Wren had come in through an open window and couldn't find its way out.

So I took a couple of pics, and then opened both doors and encouraged it to fly free, free as a bird. And it did.

It was only well on my way to work that I realized that the little bastard had shat on my dashboard.

How often is it that I dream of birds crapping up my truck, and then they actually do it? Odd.
