Not disagreeing with you lol. What point are you attempting to make? and what is "USBAD?"
“Love is the only bow on Life’s dark cloud. It is the morning and the evening star. It shines upon the babe, and sheds its radiance on the quiet tomb. It is the mother of art, inspirer of poet, patriot and philosopher.
It is the air and light of every heart – builder of every home, kindler of every fire on every hearth. It was the first to dream of immortality. It fills the world with melody – for music is the voice of love.
Love is the magician, the enchanter, that changes worthless things to Joy, and makes royal kings and queens of common clay. It is the perfume of that wondrous flower, the heart, and without that sacred passion, that divine swoon, we are less than beasts; but with it, earth is heaven, and we are gods.” - Robert. G. Shall I refresh your memory?
Quote:The whole idea of this is to show everyone that we are now the "Not fucking around" crew.
The "whole idea" was to hurt ISIS. There may be a side benefit to that of "don't fuck around with us", but we just get more haters in the process, so that's not necessarily a positive.
But if you mean Lord Orange Marmalade is nobody to fuck around with I would suggest a survey of opinions outside the US, where he's viewed as the most dangerous man in the world right now by a fair number of serious observers.

Okay your initial statement seemed to imply that I disagreed that we hurt ISIS, which I don't.
If your argument is that the main point of the bomb was to "hurt ISIS" I have a few questions for you.
Why did we choose to use the largest non nuclear weapon in history to kill under 50 people?
Don't you think there is a more effective way (cost wise and tactically) to target such a small number of soldiers...?
Especially considering that I'm sure we're aware of where many ISIS camps are...
You really don't see how that is just a "look at how big our dick is" move...?
This is chess, not checkers. We didn't pull out a bomb of that cost and size to kill 36 people holed up in a mountain. That's just silly. The 36 deaths, if anything, is the P.S. at the end of the letter.

Yet again, sigh, the point wasn't to kill people, it was to reduce their arms stock. They had millions of dollars worth of munitions in those caves. The collateral damage was a bonus, and I imagine they picked a time when higher ups were on an inspection tour or some such. Cut off the head of a snake and it dies. Cut off the head of a Hydra and Butch Cassidy steps in.

Yet again, the point is a power play. I highly doubt we needed to deploy the biggest non nuclear bomb in combat history to carry out this attack, especially when we have cheaper bombs designed to crumble tunnels and underground infrastructures.

You keep flip-flopping from casualties to power play. In both case all I can say is that your opinion is noted.

Please show me where I flip flopped.

Why? Because when you claim someone is flip flopping you should be prepared to back that up and I'm more than willing to tear that statement apart. I said please.

Not interested. Don't really give a flying fuck if you're bothered or not. Just so you know.
