Being concerned with your mental state is crossing the line?
Now, if you had taken my advice before and put me on ignore you could have avoided this.
BUT this is about YOU, not even politics now. Everyone SHOULD be concerned with that thread FOR YOU.

Quote:Gallup, Inc. is an American research-based, global performance-management consulting company. Founded by George Gallup in 1935, the company became known for its public opinion polls conducted worldwide. It provides research and strategic consulting to large organizations in many countries, focusing on "analytics and advice to help leaders and organizations solve their most pressing problems."

Yea I'd take a Gallup poll at face value above a USA Today poll any day.

And again if Gallop polled people and 56% of those polled thought the earth was flat, would the earth be flat? If 56% of Americans were polled and thought it was ok for a 30 year old man to marry a 13 year old, would that make it ok?
Again, you are cherry picking one poll, I gave you two other links the USA link and the MSNBC link.
Just because you can do something does not make it wise.
And again, I also gave you SCALIA's quote saying the 2nd was not a free for all.

Thanks for getting me banned on TTA for "harrassment" when I was trying to help you.
That is ok, if it gets you the help you need, and you don't hurt yourself and it makes you feel better, I don't mind.

And again, if it prevents him from hurting himself then it should not matter what happens to me or what you or he think of me.
I do get to talk about firarms, and addictions and mental illness in combo because I have dealt with both.
My adoptive dad was legal at time of buy, shot his handgun with me in the room. Depression runs in my biological family, my older sister would think like KUSA. She would agree with KSUA, her boyfriend owns several firarms. Long before I met KUSA on either website, I got calls form her on a few occasions about how life sucked. I left those phone calls with her wondering if she would use one of his firearms. I still wonder because they do get into heated fights sometimes, not physical but very verbal, if he is going to lose it himself and hurt my sister.
I am not even joking now. I DONT own a firearm myself precisely because of my own feelings. I do not think enough people understand that about themselves.
I have even pointed to other firearm owners who agree with me on what people should consider and it isn't as simple as "legal at time of buy".
If you really want to help KUSA, then don't worry about me.
https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/suicide.htm
21,000 gun suicides
Notice all the other types combined while equal half, are still far lower than firearm, which means firearms are far more likely to be used in a suicide.
Homocide with firearm,
15,809
Most homicides involve someone the person is familiar with. and those homicides are a majority done with firearms. The next number lower is still only 5k.
Again, this proves that firarms are easy to use.
Total number of fatal gun use resulting in Homicide and suicide is an average of 36k a year. Divide that by 365, you are talking about 98 firarm deaths per day, both homicide and suicide, and most of those deaths, as I said happen with the user, or someone the user is familiar with.

MSNBC. The cable news network that's almost as left biased as Faux is right. Yea, I'll stick with Gallup until you can tell me why their poll was wrong. I won't bother holding my breath waiting on that one.
To the best of my knowledge there has not been a single instance of someone using a legally owned machine gun being convicted of murder in the US in the more than 80 years since NFA became the law of the land. The laws regarding their private ownership seem to be sufficient. Since you don't seem to think so why don't you convince me why they should be banned.

No actually it has gutted most of it's "left" talent. I wish it were still as left as you claim. Outside Rachael Maddow and Lawrence O'Donnell and Joy on the weekend, it has gutted most of it's "left" programming and Morning Joe is still slightly right of center but still right. Unfortunately MSNBC and even ABC AND NBC AND CBS are now trying to chase Fox News. They are not the extreme far right no, but even those networks as far as news are being pulled to the right. At best MSNBC, ABC NBC AND CBS are now center not the left they once were. And as with any corporate CEO the top including media has a tendency to vote the economic right, regardless of the talent they hire.
And no, even outside cable news, there is no comparing parties views as far as the average voter.

Can someone tell me where it states one MUST own a gun?
Therefore, gun owners should do us all a favor and not own guns.

Your silly assed idea of "help" is neither needed or helpful. You got a time out at TTA, not a ban. I think that you need help, personally. You don't even understand his situation, you just went on another blithering anti-gun tirade.

It is not as though the gun is a biological part of you; therefore, you should have no legal right to it.
