"Paraplegic shot, killed armed intruder" seems a lot less credible than "landlord shoots tennants". That last one is all the craze these days, angry white males shooting and killing (usually black) teens. At some points teens are gonna shoot back.
And er ... the fascist takeover has ALREADY OCCURRED, it happened with all the loopholes around campaign financing and the deal was officially sealed with the Citizens United arrest. The funny thing about all the freedom screechers is that they appear to fear a government "takeover" (from who? the .... government), but they are perfectly happy with a Big Corp takeover, you know, those unelected power brokers and monopolists.
