Well yeah, when you see how crazy the extreme left in the US are getting, most reasonable people don't want to associate with them, and the younger generation is actually quite conservative because they see through the PC BS that is being forced fed them. Personally I think the left will destroy itself and eat their own in an attempt to be outrageous to one up each other and remain relevant that they will wake up one day, get red pilled and realize they are irrelevant. Kind of seeing that in the MSM now.

Conservatism has become the counter culture and it's growing, as people abandon the losing side.

There are no extreme lefts in this country, though many conservatives will claim anything close to center left is extreme.It says more about how far the spectrum has shifted to the right, than it does about leftist policies.

Any prominent Democrat, no matter how Centrist, is called a Left Wing Extremist by Republicans. It's part of the way they always try (often successfully) to control the narrative by not quite telling the truth or outright lying. Like saying Obamacare had death panels over and over again.
