A rational explanation for hell?

He created another creator and once this creator gained knowledge of the natural order of good and evil, right and wrong, selfish and unselfish, it choose not its creator who was there but itself and its owns desires. Satan falling to the earth as he too succumb to the desire to be God himself left one to tempt the easily tempted. Hell is created for those that choice lies in the desire for sin and can not be changed, for to have choice is that not good? Who says he is all powerful? He is a God that created the Heavens and the earth. He is not dependent on anything external to himself. Because he knows he designs well, apart from him, without the infinite knowledge nothing can be. Prayer is humbling, a time to confess, not just ask for things. Prayer is a proof that you are true to your conviction to God.

Some might say..

You're an idiot, an imbecile. A pure product of conditioning, your environment and indoctrination, who possesses not a single opinion developed by yourself, instead choosing to regurgitate the ludicrous dogma that has been force fed into your pliant and sponge like brain.

Your whole life will be spent in blissful and wooly minded bewilderment of the real world as you arrogantly stand in judgement of those who you cannot understand simply because they do not share in your pre-school fantasy world and because you do not have the capacity to climb out of that vile pit of ignorance that you have so expertly been lowered into.

But not me..

But your god doesn't really care if Gates is evil or not, does he? All god cares about is mental submission and blind obedience.

Why?

If we are so incapable of making decisions for ourselves without selfish motives that ultimately result in our decline and self destruction into Hell then why give us free will in the first instance? So god can shift the burden of responsibility onto us and make us accountable and nothing else?

Your god concept is the equivalent of a bumbling parent who gives his inexperienced developing child a loaded gun and acts all surprised when the child cannot handle the responsibility and commits terrible crimes with the gun. The only thing that's missing from your "story" is that god gets his creation taken off him by social services and put into proper care.

So what is wrong that I discerned that this is truth for me or that I did not accept your theory and assumptions? Is not choice apparent that i chose to deny yours because it is not the incontrovertible truth so many claim it to be. It is all a mystery. I accept it, i believe it, I do not know it for certain, the book stands and I understand and hope. What we say we do or our going to do is irrelevant, our lives are not this exchange of discourse but of personal recognition of actions and truth. And I(a human like you) will believe and you will not, that is what fascinates me right this very moment.

The Bible is real and was real before your were in this world, the choice is yours. If you do not seek forgiveness or accept it when it is given, should you be forgiven when it is ultimately your choice?

This is just the sort of thing that prompts me to state

"choosing to regurgitate the ludicrous dogma that has been force fed into your pliant and sponge like brain."

I rest my case....

A rational explanation for hell?

Howabout torturing a marionette representing the recently deceased and your enemies in your mind and drawing pleasure from it to temporarily assuage one's feelings of injustice?

Is not choice good or do you wish not to have the burden of choice? A good man will make a good choice if he is truly good and an evil man will make an evil choice if he is truly evil. What do say about these men; what would a lawgiver or judge say? A gun compared to choice is a little extreme. If he shoots someone does his ignorance prove that the crime did not happen. Adam and eve both knew what God commanded and when another choice arose one different than the first they jumped at the chance. After that they sought the resources of the garden to fix their problem and hid from God. God asked them what they had done and she blamed the snake and he blamed eve but they did not seek God. They missed the mark every time but "The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them." Gen 3:21

Hell is a myth created by the church to keep the sheeples in line....if you threaten some one with eternal torment long enough they buy into its the power of suggestion.....there is no rational explanation for something that does not exist only in the minds of those who have brain washed into thinking its real...
