While this is serious and they should know better. The right seem to be suffering from amnesia as this was par for the course during the Obama years . Where there was not an anti Obama story or anti Obama conspiracy  they would no publish or promote  .And even Trump himself has promoted fake stories and conspiracies . So no Trump and his cronies don't get to be high and mighty now .

Yeah this should surprise nobody. Where was this guy when Obama was in office? He didn't feel the need to try and get it out of FOX producers that they were making up bullshit about the President for ratings? I wonder why.

Who made these Obama stories? Fox News? Rush Limbaugh? If you want to admit that CNN is on the same level as these, then you're correct that this shouldn't be a big deal. The difference is that you guys want to think that CNN is on a higher level of credibility than the others. In that case, yes, this is newsworthy.

To me CNN lost their credibility in their election coverage. Their obvious pro-Hillary (and anti-Sanders) agenda plus the way they handled Wikileaks ("its illegal for you viewers to look at the leaks yourself so the only way you can hear or see what they're about is through us")

But at the same time, just because CNN reports something does not automatically make it fake news like so many Trump supporters believe.

1. Promoting a fake story and lacking fact checking and promoting conspiracy theories is just as bad as making a story up (which CNN didn't even do) 

2. I'm pointing out the right making a huge deal out of this one instance while ignoring foxes crappy track record on journalism(a sight I point out Trump loves)

3. And yes CNN is still on a higher quality despite the incident. It's like comparing a guy who lied once to a guy who lies 100 times there not equal . one does not have to be 100 percent honest to still be more honest then someone who lies 60% of the time. 

4. So you admit Fox is as untrustworthy as CNN? (your claiming there not trustworthy)

I note that at no point did CNN say the story wasn't true.  Just that it didn't follow editorial processes.  I think that means that some senior editor didn't like it.

Ok. The guy has attempted to entrap subjects in the past with deliberately false or misleading footage. But he's also uncovered legitimate stuff (the ACORN video that, after further scrutiny, lost ACORN its federal funding) To be fair. The guy he recorded is a producer that is not at all involved in political coverage. But there's also a second part to this video that shows Van Jones saying something similar.

My point is that I've believed what this is saying is true before I saw the video. Just like FOX pushed the false narrative about Obama's birth certificate for ratings, CNN is pushing the narrative that Trump personally colluded with Russia. Now, the story has a far greater potential to be true than the further story. But right now it has no concrete evidence, and really no basis in fact. Yes, Flynn was working for Russia. Yes, some members of his campaign were in contact with Russia. And yes, Russia hacked the election. But everybody is waiting for that proof that Donald Trump did it himself and he's going to prison. And it's never going to happen. And it's CNN 's fault for making people think it will
