One of my favorite shows because he explored culture and humanism in small parts of the world. He was on a shoot in France when he hung himself in his hotel room.

I just know this guy from the Joe Rogan experience, they had him on the show and talk about him a lot.


Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

He was on the Travel Channel too. I'd watch him when there was nothing else on and the place he went to was interesting to me. He had a Hitchen's quality to his writing. His fans will miss him, and the food critic travel experts will too.

It's not weird because he suffered from depression according to what I've heard on CNN. The only reason I could think of for an autopsy would be to find out if there were drugs in his system outside of what he might have been subscribed, or in excess of what he was subscribed.
