Client's... basically, a website is supposed to send an email to them when a form is correctly filled out and submitted.  I had a fundamental misunderstanding of how MX records work (I thought that there was aliasing involved and other dumb stuff), so it didn't work.  Thankfully I got help at another forum I frequent, and I learned an important lesson, so everything is working properly and I learned something.

Waiting for my babe to land here in Austin, so we'll have another few days together. Man, am I happy!

Sounds like a well chosen life you're leading there.

I just finished working on an induction proof.  In particular, the exercise was to prove the following proposition: "If i=sqrt(-1), then for every integer n≥1, the complex number [cos(x) + isin(x)]^n=cos(nx) + isin(nx).  Note, the author suggests that we prove this by showing that (1) the statement is true for n=1 and (2) if the statement is true for n-1 (induction hypothesis) [1], then the statement is true for n. 

I must say that the algebra involved in this was pretty cool: once we get to the point where we use the induction hypothesis, we then FOIL the resulting binomial [2].  Then after some factoring and tweaking, we then get the expressions into a form that resembles the sum-difference formulas from trigonometry.  We then utilize these formulas to help us establish that  P(n-1) implies P(n) (note that P is an abbreviation for our statement).

I bought some dental type treats which he loves. I noticed a while back for some reason EABUC#2 was sitting quietly by the pantry door during a meal time. So after he had been conveniently NOT underfoot for a while, he received a treat.

LOL, he picked up on the magic behavior that earned him a reward pretty quickly and he has become quite amenable to training, IF I can catch him doing something worth encouraging more of.

So, kitty is snoozing in his chair in the bay window more, and under the coffee table less. Because that's what I want.

LOL, I hope I don't get the poor thing doing too many things contrary to his nature, but he definitely has picked up on this treat thing in a way I've never seen a cat do before.

lying in bed, I've had a good week off.

Yesterday I played with my band we're preparing for a gig on Sunday, I worked hard on muscle at the gym yesterday too and I know I'll be feeling an ache all around soon.

I plan to do cardio at the gym today and later meet with someone from tinder for the 3rd time this week.

Now I'm going to geek out on baldurs gate.

Trying to find something to do in the office. I'm bored.

Trying to sleep.

Failing to sleep.

Plotting tired revenge on anyone who could pitentially be to blame.
