Eliminate Automatic Insertion of Horizontal Rule

Eliminate Automatic Insertion of Horizontal Rule
I suggest getting rid of the way a horizontal rule is automatically inserted. It does so when you make two posts on the same thread, one right after the other, before someone else posts. I personally find it un-aesthetic and usually edit the post to delete it.

I dont mind it. Only thing is when I like one of the posts and hate the other one, I can't kudos just the one I like bc they are joined lol.

But it saves space this way, so I get it.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I think it's useful. It maintains the original intent of the author in separately addressing more than one post by providing a visual representation of that structural separation.

You won't hear this often but I actually agree with Chad.

Not so much the line but the doubling up of posts.  It was better before.

I don't like the combining of the posts period....
But the horizontal line makes sense to me, if that is what the powers that be want to do.

We already removed it once but we put it back because some people were making unnecessary amounts of posts one after another over and over

It's untidy.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
