Death by having your truck hit by a train carrying political people is going to be more news worthy than your average car accident. Just the way the news works I guess.

One fatality, apparently some one in the truck. Have heard trash truck had 3 people in it.

As you can imagine, huge mess from load of trash being impacted by train.

Crossing has lights and a gate.
 The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Congressperson Mimi Walters reports several doctors were on the train and as soon as it stopped, they left the train to render aid to the crew in the trash truck.

I wonder if this was a suicide though? Just don't get why he wouldn't have gotten out of the truck.
Probably someone who either thought they had time to get the truck restarted and moved out of the way or someone who was trying to race the train to get across the tracks. Trains move a lot quicker than people think. It was estimated that the train was traveling at 70 mph, and that it takes a half a mile before a train can come to a complete stop. They just showed pictures of the locomotive. The whole front of it is smashed in.
