The funny thing is, as long as people’s beliefs aren’t hurting others, why does my shift, change a friendship? But what you learn is...they were never my friend.

Perhaps they were upset and their perspective is that you were choosing a fantasy over them.

I hope you pardon them and connect with those who attempt to disconnect from you especially if they were a childhood friend.
