Bill Cosby Guilty!

If there's suspicious circumstances behind those cases, all 59 of them, maybe he could be innocent (not terribly likely), but, at least in this case, Occam's Razor would suggest that he actually is.

If you still want to be able to enjoy his work knowing that he was ultimately an execrable human being, well, there's nothing stopping you. My favourite film of the 1960s is a little British film called Repulsion: it's the story of a woman dealing with monsters from her past (specifically childhood sexual abuse) and losing her mind at the worst possible time. It's one of the few films of the period that dwelled upon the long-term consequences of sexual assault (in childhood, no less), and it was written and directed by someone who, 12 years later, (and possibly earlier), subjected a girl of 13 to more or less the same exact thing the protagonist of that movie went through in her childhood. Does this make it any worse a piece of art? No. It's technically magnificent, especially for a glorified exploitation film, the themes resonate to this day, and Catherine Deneuve's performance is probably the female performance that I've identified with the most of all the many I've watched.

The bottom line is people are deeply flawed, and often in worse ways than you could possibly imagine. And they can still create works that touch the soul in ways most works don't.

Linkletter was da man.

His daughter would beg to differ.

Bill Cosby played an friendly and avuncular TV dad.

Donald Trump played a decisive and successful TV CEO.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Hmmm, a black man convicted solely on inconsistent testimony with zero evidence...

Art Linkletter originally had that show waaaay back in the day. I remember watching it after school on TV  back  in the 60s.

Anyway, Tom Brokaw is the latest to be accused of sexual misconduct by two women.

Looks like guys had better watch the shit they say to the girls these days. The women ain't playing around with either rude sexual comments or with rude sexual conduct from the guys.

Why would over 50 women all have the same story and go through the scandal of it all by telling the world CL, Roadrunner and Huggy?

First of all the trial didn't involve 50 women.

Secondly according to your logic you should accept that God exists simply based on the amount of people that say so...

Firstly, isn't six women's testimonies enough for you?
Maybe you'd feel differently if you were a black woman.

Secondly, when did god have a sitcom where millions saw him on television and know for sure that he is real?

I think he just likes his "bling-bling". It's quite common for simple people to judge things on the basis of how shiny they are. If it were up to them - all the financial transactions would be conducted using golden chains and rims for currency...
