Of course they are, you've been trading punches with one for nearly a year now.

Treat others as you wish to be treated is an awful moral system

Women tend to want relationships with men. Men who watch porn a lot aren't learning how to be in such relationships. So, yeah, porn is bad for women.
There's already a lot of men who don't bother dating because porn is good enough for them. As virtual reality and/or sex robots become better and more affordable, it's going to get worse.

To be honest, I don't see how it makes a difference in that, for the vast majority of guys.
If anything, it helps facilitate something that helps keep people even and calm. If anything that's a good thing.

I've genuinely always thought that specific religions, or any other belief systems/actions which massively pervert normal sexual activity are more responsible for things like rape, pedophilia, abnormal sexual thoughts.
It's a fairly obvious dig at religion which on an atheist forum is like shooting fish in a barrel and an easy target, but that's my genuine thoughts on the matter.
The most weird, dangerously horny thoughts I had in my life is when I was too young to have sex and believed that masturbation was wrong. As soon as I had a wank it was instant relief and instant knowledge that this is all I have to do to vent out and prevent myself from having the thoughts of a sexual predator, for a few hours at least.
There's a good Seinfeld episode about the insanity that can be caused from not having sex and not mastubating, where they all have a bet about who can last the longest.
And that's not to put porn completely in the clear either, I think all types of porn can be unethical and bad for women including some legal porn, porn that's technically illegal could be completely ethical too though.
Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.
Impersonation is treason.

It's as if they're saying that being as horny as possible at all times encourages natural and healthy relationships. Also it helps you obtain relationships/sex.
On opposites day maybe.

I don't think porn keeps men from wanting relationships. Porn doesn't provide relationships, and plenty of men enjoy being in relationships. It's a species thing, not a gender thing.

What Porn Does To Intimacy
Quote:Is watching pornography really as benign as people think? The following three studies reveal that it has a greater effect on relationships than those we usually discuss.
1. Porn-free relationships are stronger, with a lower rate of infidelity.
...
2. Watching porn diminishes relationship commitment.
...
3. The fantasy alternative leads to real-world cheating.
