Overall, do you like Christians being here?

Always fucking christians. You know that there are other theists as well. It's not a binary choice between atheism and christianity. Why didn't you post a thread asking "Overall, do you like theists being here?" There are also muslims, jews, buddhists, pagans, new agers etc.

So I wanted to know where people stand on that.

There really should be a ‘meh’ option. I’m indifferent to theists being here (or generally existing in the world). I like some, and pretty obviously dislike others, for various reasons, but it’s on a person by person basis.  RE: Overall, do you like Christians being here?

I was a Christian for two decades. It was everything I was. I had never developed any other characteristics besides being that devout Christian girl. I’m not saying all Christians are like that, but I sure was. When I left religion I was basically born again lol I started from scratch. Reading what Christians here have to say is sort of a walk down memory lane and while some of the things you say sound preposterous now, I like having you (Christians) around. I somehow feel that Christianity is the town in which I grew up. You see, I don’t have a hometown, since my parents moved us around to make churches here and there. So yeah. Christians are the people of the place in which I grew up.

Christians and Muslims would probably be about right since the issue for me is expecting respect without giving it, and no religion hell bent on proselytizing respects others. Nor will they willingly coexist peacefully and productively and as peers with those who will not convert. |
