Yes the PC's and The liberals dominate Federal politics. But at least smaller parties get a chance .

Just saying it works here in Canada we have

Every major part in Canada
Liberal
PC
NPD
Greens

Every named minor party
Libertarians
Wild Rose
The marijuana party
The non party
The Christian Socialists

I would rather live under President Shithole than freeze my ass off. (Note to self, did I think that or say that?)

Just kidding. I'd Canada's views. Most of our allies are not as ass backwards as we are.

I shudder at the thought of 10 political parties.

I think that the two party system lends to corruption. Where people are forced to go along with the party. I think more would be better, no party system would be great. People would still work together on things and alight, but I think there would be less compulsion that you had to.

I think people shouldn't be allowed to run with a letter next to their name. This way people would have to do more to learn about a candidate and the issues they stand on. Not solely voting based on that letter.

Our whole system is fucked up. People said to me that they were voting for Trump because they didn't want Clinton. What kind of mind set is that? It shouldn't be the lesser of two evils, we should be able to vote for who we want to lead the country. You know you can opt to just vote one sided? Like just put in that you are republican and want a straight ballot and it will give you only the republicans and you can vote without even knowing who you are voting for. Like welp they are republicans and I'm republican therefore they must be good.

Requires amending the constitution.  Good luck with that.

I have no problem with each party figuring out who their best is before sending them out against candidates from other parties. we just need to not have it be so long. People talk about what's going to happen in the next election season practically right after the present one is finished.

Yeah, this is why people want to argue voting the lesser of two evils being a good thing. because we only have two choices, and one of them isn't much better than the other. Why not have as many political parties as possible. there ae a lot of issues out there, after all.
