The rules don't apply to Trump. He has done enough ten times over to be universally disliked. He is a sexually predatory, criminal, who is not only stupid but probably treasonous.
But some americans love him. I supposed horrible people need a figure head.

Still evil. I’ll pass. I don’t leave my house to vote for people I don’t want in office.
We're on the same page on this actually. I know I included myself in those who show up to vote against a candidate because by and large that's how its been every time I've voted. But its also the reason I more or less stopped voting years ago. The exception being 2016 when I showed up and cast a vote against the orange fat man. My county went blue, rest of the state went red so leaving the house was futile and pointless as it turns out.

It's really not. Count the numbers. Also, blame the people who voted for Trump, not the people you'll want to court next election.

Keep going. I'll be sure to vote for Republicans next time. Let's see who can be less of an ass before next election.

I was actually glad that Hillary got the nomination over Bernie, not too happy with the way she and the DNC fucked him over, though. I was more worried that Sanders could have beaten Trump. The Bernie Bros were so pissed over the way he got screwed by the DNC and Hillary that a lot of them didn't vote for a presidential candidate.

You couldn't have voted for anyone, so maybe don't tell me how to vote. 1. What numbers are you arguing their statistic that swing voters would have predictably gone to Bernie .A nice thought but i'm not convinced .As for courting .who am i courting? i'm not a Democrat.
2.By all means go right ahead and vote for the Republicans .Thou i hope you remember you did so over a disagreement on the internet seems like kind of a trivial thing to place the future of your country in peril over .

4. You think because i can't vote( a thing that is hardly my fault ) i can't voice an opinion ? That American voting has no impact on my life ? And last i checked i never told you to vote for anyone .

Nope, I'll do it for the same reason that I usually tend toward Democrat, and that's because Republicans are dicks. By all means, keep being a dick to people who voted Bernie.

Move to the U.S. if you want a say in the vote.

Not at all. I think you can voice your opinion all you want. In fact, I'm happy to discuss American politics with anyone from anywhere. However, when you blame people like me, who didn't vote for Trump or Hillary, you're telling me which way I should vote. Personally, I don't think you get a say in how any of us vote. Yes, it may affect you, but Democracy isn't about voting for people in other countries. It's about voting for the way you want your country run. I don't want my country run by a bank shill in a pantsuit or a real estate shill in a toupee. Tough titty. Unless you want to hand over Trudeau, I don't see how you can help.

I don't want my country run by a bank shill in a pantsuit or a real estate shill in a toupee. Tough titty. Unless you want to hand over Trudeau, I don't see how you can help. 1. That did not answer my question .I'm well aware swings are independent and yes Bernie does well with them .I still doubt it would be enough to beat Trump and this does not factor in how many would have actually stuck with the Bernie movement or even would have voted . Popularity does not equal votes .
2. I'm not a dick to people who voted for Bernie (Considering i support Sanders ) I'm simple pointing out your the one who said you would vote Republican over our discussion here .I said that would be silly .
3. Dismissing my links as " crap" is not an argument .
4.And lastly i'm not telling people how they should vote .Pointing out my agreement with the idea that not voting for X lead to election of Y does in no way mean i'm saying you should have voted for X .Seriously you seem hell bent on imply i said something i never did. At no point did i say vote for Hilary .At the start of this thread i made it clear i don't like Hilary. So kindly stop telling me what i said . I clearly said "it's partially true" as in it's true in the sense of the X/Y equitation above. That's not the same as direct blame nor telling you how to vote nor is it saying that they are the only factor that inadvertently lead to Trump winning .

1. Swings are the vote you're wooing. I'm a swing. I'm arguing it's not our faults that Trump won. You just made my point in a different way. Thanks.
2. I didn't say I'd vote for Republicans because of our discussion. I already explained that.
3. Yes, pointing out that your sources are bad is 100% an argument.
4. Well, I'm saying voting for X didn't lead to the election of Y. Saying it did is blame. There's plenty of blame to go around, and it lands with both parties. Those of us on the sidelines are sick of their bullshit.
