"Ignore" Leaderboard

Reason: I think it is important to have feedback on what others think of your contribution to the greater AF community for 2 reasons:

1. Personal growth. While you may think your quality, content and tone are seen as positive contributions, others may not and changes can be made.
2. Improve quality of overall forum. Everyone has a threshold where if the quality of discussion falls below it, they will consider leaving. If members know and use the feedback loop of "Ignore" purposefully, I have to believe it will make a difference in overall quality. Improvements in quality will increase retention. Increased retention improves quality.

Good idea? Bad idea? Impracticable? Impossible? Another method with same goal?

This is similar to the suggestion that we have negative rep, and likely is undesirable for similar reasons. Negative feedback of itself doesn't generally lead to positive outcomes. The positive feedback of kudos and rep is eminently preferable.

Right. Also doesn't not getting kudos have a similar effect as negative kudos, but a little less harsh?

A little less harsh, what am I saying lol

There is no reason to implement this and every reason too ignore it .

Is there anyway to select "ignore all"?
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

I think all the people I've blocked are banned now. I don't recall blocking anyone who wasn't a Nazi.

Perhaps there could at least be an "ignore all but those who must never be ignored"-button?

Then people would bitch about not being on the "never ignore" list.

Might be a way to raise funds to cover operating expenses here if donations fall behind?

Hahaha. I wonder who the most ignored person is? I never ignored anyone.

I've been talking online for 30 years and never used an ignore feature, though I understand why people use them.
