This guy thinks Pence did it.

He has a point. I have never used the word "lodestar." When speaking of Pence and the WLB I frequently use the term "load of shit" but that is not the same thing.

While reading Sarah Huckabee Sanders's detailed response to the op-ed that of course said the piece was all a lie, I thought the op-ed writer was probably her.
At the next White House press briefing, Jim Acosta from CNN should just tell her "blink twice if you need help".

Wellll, technically, whatever they say does come from a "starfish". Maybe it's a question of whether it comes from the upper or lower one. Generally speaking, I just call it an anus. Sad to say, the potus has an anus at both ends of his alimentary canal, as does the vpotus.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Quote:‘The call is coming from inside the house’: White House aides are fearful anyone could be secret NYT’s ‘resistance’ op-ed writer
Quote:Perpetual conflict, power struggles, and strife have characterized President Donald Trump’s White House from the beginning, according to countless reports of the building’s inner workings, but a new op-ed in the New York Times is guaranteed to amplify all the administration’s worst tendencies to an even greater degree.
The op-ed was written by an anonymous administration official who said that he or she is among a group of people within the federal government working to undermine the president’s most dangerous impulses and inclinations. And according to a new report in the Washington Post, the op-ed has inflamed paranoia and mistrust in the White House.

It would make sense that it was Pence as he is probably biding his time waiting for Trump to blow up and then step in to become president. If he can then say that he was part of the resistance then it means that he can avoid the fallout from Trump's departure.
Of course it would be simple for the NYT to just claim this and watch Trump sack everyone around him. I doubt they did make it up though. But this also points again to Pence as the author. Because his position is the safest no matter who Trump replaces. Can a president get rid of a vice president?
What would the motives be for anyone else writing this? All they do is risk losing their jobs.

So, they are willing to keep a dangerous and damaged person in office just so they can use him to push through their agenda, all the while patting themselves on the back as heros for secretly controlling a few of his worst impulses.
Then announcing it publicly so that he'll be harder to control.
Disgusting, stupid, selfish, narcissistic idiots, the lot of them.

They want people to ignore the smoke, telling them they've got the fire under control.
My theory anyway. It could still be Pence, too. He makes Trump look bad while distancing himself, and maybe saves a few R seats while he's at it.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Have yet to meet an Australian I didn't like.
Yep, pretty sad that you understand our economics better than GOP voters do here.
This all started with Reagan's deregulation.
