I hope you heal up well regardless of whether you require surgery or not.

When I was younger, I tripped over a Dachshund going down the stairs and broke a bone in my ankle. Thankfully I have no long term effects from that episode, other than the memory of being mercilessly teased about it.

So sorry. The mom in me feels compelled to remind you to take calcium and vitamin D supplements while healing.

Hubby (aka the King) has a rod from his knee to his ankle. Eight months out of work (we are self-employed). It was...rough. He did it while up a tree about 20 feet. In the woods. With nobody knowing where he was. Had to get himself out of the tree and guide 911 into the woods by the direction of the sound of the siren.
Where are we going and why am I in this hand basket?
