Hi I am Chicken, just joined a few atheist forums recently, but I have been an atheist for about 6 years now. I was raised Jewish, had my Bar Mitzvah, so I guess I am a Jew for life now    NOT. My poor mother still thinks it's a phase, haha. Anyway, looking forward to some nice discussions on here, not particularly keen on bashing religious people but some people just ask for it I guess. Hoping to meet some real life atheist friends at some point, but for now I am just gonna reach out to atheists on the internet. Close enough, right? If you guys have any questions for me I'm not shy, ask away.

I am from Southern California! Being an atheist here isn't too bad, but there is so much emphasis on freedom of religion that it is not ok to have opinions against someone's religion either! Oh well I guess you can't have both, right?

I crossed the road because God is a lie! I don't remember exactly, when I was 16 I took a philosophy course at Brown over the Summer in part to grapple with my budding agnosticism, and I came out a full-on Atheist. All it took was a logically sound systematic deconstruction of religion to disprove it entirely, at least the God from the bible.


Edit: Oh, chicken crossed the road. Nevermind I'm a fool.

The god in the koran is not too impressive either.
