It always has. But not to worry - before you know it, it’ll be on your favourite classic rock station.

I don't know what any of it sounds like, except for maybe I've heard it on a commercial before the wife muted the TV. I don't watch TV but maybe an hour a month. As far as favorites, I have a lot of 60s and '70s rock as the principal complement of my music, with some older jazz and blues. Then I pick and choose the rest from whatever I hear on the radio if I play it (mostly I use an iPod because I used to commute for a minimum of 2 hours a day, and don't want to hear commercials). Newer stuff is mostly like Paul Gilbert, Joe Satriani, and John Mayall. I think I have everything of his, but need to check. Van Morrison wears well, too. I have no rap, or anything that uses an auto tuner.

Give me classic rock and music from the 70s and 80s.

There are some good bands/singers from the 90s onward, but the quality of the music went downhill dramatically about then.

No ©rap, hip-hop, blues or jazz (sorry Fireball),

Not a fan, at least of what I see as traditional blues.

No worries. It gives me more to listen to, other people not wearing it out. Most unapposite post of the day, right here.

Santa: "And what do you want for Christmas, Timmy?"

Timmy: "I want a little brother!" (Timmy ain't too bright).

Santa seduces Timmy's mum.

No doubt people have been saying this since the year after music was invented.

Quote:Polarization over slavery shattered America’s still-fragile norm of mutual toleration. Democratic representative Henry Shaw assailed Republicans as “traitors to the Constitution and the Union,” while Georgia senator Robert Toombs vowed to “never permit this federal government to pass into the traitorous hands of the Black Republican Party.” Antislavery politicians, for their part, accused proslavery politicians of “treason” and “sedition.”

The erosion of basic norms expanded the zone of acceptable political action. Several years before shots were fired at Fort Sumter, partisan violence pervaded Congress. Yale historian Joanne Freeman estimates that there were 125 incidents of violence—including stabbings, canings, and the pulling of pistols—on the floor of the U.S. House and Senate between 1830 and 1860. Before long, Americans would be killing each other in the hundreds of thousands.

Why do the nurses where I work never dress in thise sexy "naughty nurse" outfits you see advertised all over the place at Halloween?

Addendum. Okay, Bobby did wear one, but that was just wrong.

...especially the g-string and the mistletoe over his dick.

Wondercwhat he'll wear to this year's Christmas party?
