Kathleen Madigan on Afghanistan

RE: Kathleen Madigan on Afghanistan
Hey, look..I get it, you drop down to your knees so that some djinn doesn't beat the piss out of you.  Far be it from me to suggest that this is about the dumbest thing to hang your religiosity on.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

This is the question.
I'm waiting for your answer. Please focus, and don't let Jormungander's meme true. I'm not a lady though.

Yes, the phrase used is الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوا so anyone who is afraid of our God falls in that category. I certainly do.

But the Quran says -explicitly- that you shouldn't claim to be pure:

Quote:Sura 53, The Quran:
http://quran.ksu.edu.sa/index.php?l=en#a...rans=en_sh

( 32 )   Those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, only [committing] slight ones. Indeed, your Lord is vast in forgiveness. He was most knowing of you when He produced you from the earth and when you were fetuses in the wombs of your mothers. So do not claim yourselves to be pure; He is most knowing of who fears Him.

Claiming to be pure is a psychological issue called "superiority complex". I advise you to seek consultation in parallel with looking more in the mirror.

When did I ascribe purity to myself?
I said I fear the Royalty. You have a very poor grasp of language
