Cohen's testimony

Cohen's testimony
He said it all. Now what?
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Nothing, probably.

If you think trump and the willingness of to put trump in the whitehouse marks inconceivably cynical political opportunism, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

The powers behind the republicans will pull out all the stops to safeguard trump for the next 2 years, and when they have gotten their Supreme Court justices and the dismentalling of the entire 20th century’s progress in equality of opportunity in another 2 years or so, they will throw the trump clan under the bus, thus completing America’s journey towards the ultimate extremity of unalloyed opportunistic political cynicism.

"Mr. Trump is an enigma. He is complicated...He has both good and bad, as do we all. But the bad far outweighs the good, and since taking office, he has become the worst version of himself.... Given my experience working for Mr. Trump, I fear that if he loses the election in 2020, that there will never be a peaceful transition of power."

Mr. Cohen's testimony really doesn't matter, since Trump has succeeded in de-nuclearizing North Korea.  He is a force for peace in our time.

It's not over yet. Mueller has farmed out the investigations and someone will get to the Trump family if not trump himself eventually. What the Senate does with it is a different story, but, I am betting if he does not get impeached, he'll get voted out, and after that they can charge him.

Agreed.  I got through the highlights of the testimony and took away that Trump is a liar, a dishonest businessman, a racist, and has no respect for the rule of law.  Underwhelming.

Isnt it sad though that everyone knows that he is an awful and criminal person and it doesn't make any difference to a large swathe of people in the US. I had no idea just how many evil people there were in America until his election.
