I have no idea if AF will last forever but I do think phases of high and low activity are pretty normal for a forum.

We are packing and loading the vehicles now for a roughly six week long "working vacation" at the beach. Taking the dogs too. Here in the US, my wireless service with Verizon Wireless is more reliable and cheaper than my former broadband, up to 30 Mbps over Verizon.

I'm good for (non-porn) fluff threads though.
Maybe I'll start one and title it "Sooo...How 'Bout Those Pinto Beans? We Feelin' Them or Nah?"

Fluff can generate traffic as much as serious shit. Sometimes it's fun that keeps people on a forum.

I actually aimed to make the Pinto Bean thread a reality, but alas...it's been a long time and I don't remember how to go about adding polls to threads on this forum.
I clicked the Add Poll option, but didn't see any prompts for actually composing it.

And pinto beans require a pole poll.

Another forum website I frequented more than a decade ago is still up. But there aren't that many new posts on it anymore. AF will endure, but less posts each day most likely.
