It was not a "shit show".

It was simply putting a face to a neutral FBI agent.

The only "shit show" would be on the part of the Republicans blindly ignoring the destruction the orange fuckface bully is causing.

As an outsider looking in, the Mueller hearings were more political theatre than investigation.

The Mueller report alone makes it clear that Trump should be impeached and removed from office. He is clearly a threat to the security and sovereignty of the USA.

It boggles my mind that Republicans would put partisanship ahead of the integrity of the democracy of the USA. And yet, they consistently do.

I just hope the USA doesn't take the rest of us down as they swirl the toilet.

No they were not. Only the GOP was making it political.

If the GOP can say "Oh shit, Nixon fucked up" then today's GOP can do the right thing too. Problem is all they give a shit about today is power.

And where are the Dems?

Why aren't they actually doing something other than clutching their pearls and waiting for the right moment to challenge the orange one.

Even Pelosi seems to have lost her bite.

As much as you hate it ABBAboy - the Dems also have a part to play in this shit show.  They haven't even shown up yet.

Well, whatevs. Questions of integrity aside, the Dems were hoping to get a soundbite even dumbass Rebuplicans could sink their teeth into. It's pretty obvious the Dems want to peel away enough support from Republican voters to overcome the gerrymandering and EC bullshit that allowed Trump to become President despite losing the popular vote.

To restate, it boggles my mind that anyone could read the Mueller report and still be a Trump supporter. Even if you like the (demonstrably wrong) economic policies of the Republicans, you can't possibly overlook the blatant attempts by Russia to install a president whose top priority is to reward Putin and his cronies.

If anyone on any side is going to argue "Optics" I could give a shit less.

This isn't a game. This is not left or right for me.

Over 800 prosecutors of BOTH parties said that if it were anyone else they'd be indicted. ON TOP of 50 former REPUBLICAN intel agents warning America during  his run not to elect him.

The Dems need to stop waiting for the right moment, the right soundbite, the right whatever.  They need to get a candidate prepped and ready for the next election.  The longer they wait the closer we are to the election and they are going to caught with nothing to offer the voters...other than a warm body that is 'anybody but Trump'.

I am not usually a party line voter and I am Democrat leaning.  I want the Dems to stop waiting for someone to hand them a magic answer and have them get to work on winning over voters with a solid platform.

Don't get me wrong, Trump is a horrible threat not only to the USA, but to any country who expects the US to be a rational actor in the global scene. The Dems wanted a soundbite to highlight this reality, but Mueller wasn't willing to play along. And I don't blame him for that.

Buy anyone who votes Republican ought to be hanging their heads in shame right now. That's the real integrity test.

This is also, by right-leaning pundits, as an exoneration and emboldening of their position on Trump's presidency. He's playing the long game.

I don't think the people on the left, including a lot of moderate Democrats (and moderate Republicans for that matter) realize just how much right-leaning individual (freelance) reporters, podcasts and other regular YouTubers are simply spinning a narrative about how the God Emperor is infallible and spin it like everything the Democrats are doing is somehow a threat or simply wrong. It's remarkably feels over reals too.

Tim Pool said it best in a recent YouTube vid, paraphrasing, Democrats need to get their act together and drop the infighting and focus on presenting a challenger to Trump & friends rhetoric.

I'm optimistic the Democrats will do this when the time comes.
