I've never asked you to interject your throughts with the FSM religion. Desse made the mistake assuming I did not know what closed loop meant in relation to power generation. He probably did a simple generic google search and a general electrical definition.. as he not being a legit engineer simply did not know any better. EI closed loop is a generic term and it means several different things in several different fields.. So rather than you verifying for yourself, you assumed he was right and jumped on his band wagon.. So when I made him look the fool by providing a quote directly referencing the term closed loop in a nuclear power generation article, you where shown to also be a non thinking group thinker.

Religion in all of human history worldwide has lots of pretty stories of empathy and conquest, but no religion in the world has any patent on human behavior. There is no clarity in wishful thinking.

I never said we nor I am not required to learn. I said your system of judging intelligence based on formal education was out dated it is how men 1000+ years ago where expected to learn simply because knowledge was not widely available. The world operates off of a new paradigm now. our collective knowledge is not all centrally located to institutions of learning or regionally contained in smaller libraries. So people had to carry their ALL of their intelligence around with them.

I myself never stopped learning and still to this day study.. just not your way. I do not need a teacher. Teachers are for those who can not learn and think the way I and people like me do. Would you also think Bill Gates Elon musk eddison branson morons because they did not need people to tell them how to think? because they do not have a piece of paper that says they have been indoctrinated by a given institution?

actually what you are doing is a helluva lot easier than facing a final judgement. That is the part you seem to always over look. Religion is not about everyone making it. it is about those who don't, who's fate is no different than what you describe. So the religious not only have to contend with what you just described they also have a final judgement to decide if we move on or like you get to go back to nothing.

Do you not need to read books either? Do you just figure it all out in your head?

Even if you don't need a teacher they can still be useful even when the information is available for self study. They can correct you when you make common mistakes that they have seen trip up many students. You can ask them questions. Teachers should be considered a tool like any other resource. Sometimes it's more effective or efficient to use them, sometimes it isn't.

For example, I'm learning German but it's cheaper and easier for me to use an app on my tablet for the moment. But I am also taking up acting classes because it will provide me with better feedback than if I learned to act by reading a book, or more likely in your case, just thinking you have figured it out without actually testing whether you really do know your subject.
