Why is this a "sigh"? You really think fans of either show are rare like me, and knew that? I actually only knew his face, until I looked it up today. It bugged me because he looked familiar, but because he was not a regular character, I didn't connect the dots.

And if I remember correctly you also said you were not a fan of the show. Which says to me you've been googling answers this entire thread.

You answered with google. Just like how I finally connected the dots with Lance's characters on both shows today.
