It's not even the topic of discussion in this topic; i.e the OP is not discussing the "hypothetical parallel meanings of famous words". In other words: discuss the OP; it's better for the reader.

Okey doke, let's get back to the OP.  If God loves people, he couldn't possibly punish them in the manners described in either the Quran or the New Testament.  Since both of these mystic tomes say that God allows precisely these sorts of punishments, God either hates some people or is indifferent to their sufferings.

I'm good either way.

God doesn't love "all people". You earn his love depending on your actions. You again neglected "justice" as a constraint God is acting upon.

That's why the "Christian confession" is worthless in my faith as a note.

In the Quran it's very obvious and explicit; see this verse which states the faith I believe in in this regard:

Quote:Sura 68, The Quran:
https://quran.ksu.edu.sa/index.php?l=en#...rans=en_sh

(33 )   Such is the punishment [of this world]. And the punishment of the Hereafter is greater, if they only knew.
( 34 )   Indeed, for the righteous with their Lord are the Gardens of Pleasure.
( 35 )   Then will We treat the Muslims like the criminals?
( 36 )   What is [the matter] with you? How do you judge?
( 37 )   Or do you have a scripture in which you learn
( 38 )   That indeed for you is whatever you choose?
( 39 )   Or do you have oaths [binding] upon Us, extending until the Day of Resurrection, that indeed for you is whatever you judge?
( 40 )   Ask them which of them, for that [claim], is responsible.
( 41 )   Or do they have partners? Then let them bring their partners, if they should be truthful.

So a person who was nice to people, protected children, would never be the same as a criminal who killed babies and treated people wrongly.

Here; Quran 68:35 should tell you exactly that Islam and Roman Christianity are not the same. Matter in fact, an atheist who doesn't believe in the "confession" culture is a better friend to me than a Roman Christian who worships his/her priest.

Do you see the bones of these kids?
Ask your "free non-Muslim world" about them.

Note: down here I'm getting my cash stolen by MBS. But where is the free-world; that non-Muslim silver tower?

That scene isn't exclusive to any "free non-Muslim world". But my question, AllAss33, is why your imaginary friend allows this kind of thing.

Life is a test for humans, you see all the suffering and all the bad things to test you:
-Either you do good
-Or you do bad

Whenever the test overwhelms you in this life, you die. Simply nobody can inflict infinite torture upon you but God, the moment for the very long torture -for those who deserve it- is called "judgement day".

That's not a justification for torture. It's just the assertion that god will torture. We don't need to imagine heaven and hell to see that. Happens here on earth. If you can understand why torture as a consequence of a test is immoral here on earth, you should be able to understand why it would be just as immoral in hell.

How does a six year old who slowly dies and agonizing death from bone cancer do on that test?
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

Observing the sick child is one test of the tests of this life.

It makes people turn into two groups:
-a group that does "good"; trying to cure and care for the sick
-a group that does "bad"; either taking advantage of the sick child, sometimes cause the sickness themselves by making Biologic weapons (like Agent Orange) and irradiated ammo (like in WW2 over Japan).

Would that you had enough judgment to seek reality.

Lack of empathy is a good indicator of a serial killer.

You sound like a Christian, but to be fair, it is the same god of Abraham so.

A"test" is something you take in school. A "test" is something you take to get a spot on a sports team. A "test" is something you take to get a job.

How is a "test" for a 3 or 4 year old child to get cancer? How is a "test" for a child to die from famine or war?

You might have a better argument for adult suffering, but even then I don't buy this line of logic. I watched my late mother die slowly over a several week period. It was extremely painful for her. You tell me what kind of "test" that was for a lifetime public school teacher who never committed a crime in her life, who took care of me. A woman whom if it were not for, I'd be living in the streets right now.

Pain and death are not "tests", they are simply an unfortunate part of reality. Bad things happen to good people, not as a "test" but merely because bad stuff happens in life. No magic needed, no "test" to be had.

To call our finite lives a "test", to me, cheapens the worth of life.

Dude, you forgot something.......being the sick child. Facepalm

Your religion has turned you into a psychopath who views people and their suffering only as a *way to teach a lesson* to others. Complete lack of empathy for the one and only important person in this scenario: the child
