Things you buy and never really use
I bought a lid and spoon rest. It seemed like a good idea at the time. it's now gathering dust on the top shelf along with the doughnut maker.

I had a look around, and I don't really use some painkillers I have lying around. I had an injury a while ago, along with a low-impact pain, and therefore got some over-the-counter painkillers. Took 2, made no fucking difference at alleviating the pain, so I just lived with it. The injury healed up after a couple of weeks and the pain went away.

Norco. I bought a bottle (prescription) after my foot surgery last year. I've taken four of the thirty. I don't have enough IQ points to suffer their loss when that stuff is in my system. Wink I switched to Tylenol after the first day. In '04, when I had the surgery the first time, I took that stuff and got a refill. I guess the second doctor had a bit more skill than the first. I had more done, and it hurt less, the second time. 10/10 would use that guy again for the next surgery, which I'll likely get once the Covid threat dies down. In case anyone cares, it's for arthritic joints.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Glue and chalk. I use them for one task, forget that I have them until I've bought, and am putting away, the next tube. They're usually dried up anyway.

And life insurance.
