Yeah, sure, whatever, assume all of that.  Gods are real and a god is going to hurt me because I'm on the wrong side of it's list.

This is a repulsive claim.  I'm not interested in hanging out with people who act that way, are you?

Why, then, would I worship a god that acted that way?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. It seems even less logical to decide that you would prefer the eternal torment - anyone who would disagree is a moran.  The more sensible alternative of course is to deny it all.
Remember the alternative to the torment option (apart from the denial thing) is supposed to be quite nice.  No more sickness, no more death, no more night...
You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. (Psalm 16:11)

It's not my decision to make. God has a shitlist, and it's going to do what it's going to do. There's no alternative to the torment option for me, and the fact that it's even an option is...again, repulsive.

If I tell you that you're headed down the wrong path, pitching goods that I don't have any need or desire for, what would be irrational - what a moron would do - is reassert the threat and recommit the undesired goods. I've already heard the stories. You aren't the first christian to tell me that I'm going to hell. Do you think that it might work for you, when it failed for all the rest?

Of course, no rational individual would choose torment. Neither would any rational individual choose to believe in something for which there is no evidence to support its existence, yet theists exist quite irrationally.

God chooses torment, if not choosing torment is an indication of rationality, and only a moron would choose torment.......there's the cosmos' very first offender.

So one should serve evil simply to wraith and receive reward   . That's pure moral cowardice  plain and simple. The only moron is one who denies his conscience .

The moral coward lives to experience their shame, at least. That seems to be the floor on this one.

Dude, Psalm 16 is about masturbation, you just jumped straight to the ejaculation part. Don't believe me? Read it yourself.
