He is legit there until Biden says "I do solemnly swear..."

Right. Which will be the time and date indicated above.

I would love to make a big bowl of popcorn and watch that live but somehow I think he will slink out the back door before he allows his ultimate humiliation to be filmed and replayed a bazillion times.

...Biden’s beloved furry friends will be the first dogs to live in the White House in four years since President Trump’s family chose not to bring one. Trump was the first commander-in-chief without a dog in over a century.

My guess is that dogs don't like Trump any more than he likes dogs.

My dogs have all tended to be excellent judges of character. They wouldn't like him, either.

Edit to add:

If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

That's just the projected time. One President-elect famously went three hours or so in a cold rain. I couldn't talk for three hours if Boss Lady caught me sneaking relief hookers into the basement.

Lady Bird Johnson gave Pat Nixon a tour to keep her away from the media so they wouldn't notice she was drunk. Eleanor Roosevelt told Bess Truman the silverware wasn't worth stealing. She had higher opinions on the china.

It’s not just ‘the projected time’ - it’s mandated by law.

Harrison wasn’t president-elect when he spent three hours in a cold rain on Inauguration Day. He was already President when he gave that ridiculously long speech.

A delicious win
[Image: Cake.jpg]
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

LOL, that says a lot about his character. It's easy to get most dogs (depends on the breed), also dogs who have been mistreated by a former owner, to like you. It takes very little trust building, and kindness. And they'll love you to the ends of the Earth after that bond is made. Even old & disciplined police-trained dogs will like you if you approach them properly (just don't do that shit with the handler around, you're gonna have a bad time.)

We don't deserve dogs. Cats, on the other hand ...

There is a disgusting appeal of schadenfreude involved. Sadly, this is what it has come to ... and I will watch the Live feed, with an overlay by my current favorite streamer.
