A black bear - a 45 Colt will likely drop it in a shot or two.... A big brown - a griz or Kodiak - you would just piss it off....

You just tell those they look fabulous in plaid, buy them a round -and they tend to leave substantial tips......

Got deer #4 for the season. A button buck (small - less than 2 years old).
It was almost dark.(15 minutes lite) and I could go "mafia rules" - that is - make the kill without leaving witnesses....... A big bonus when you hunt a fixed spot.... One tag left and over 2 weeks to go...

I've noticed that we've had considerably less road kill this year. Usually I have to dispatch at least one a year that's been hit.
