I have 2 buck permits and 2 doe permits.
I've been out 4 mornings and have yet to get a deer. Out again tomorrow.
I make a world-famous venison chili.

Yesterday I hunted a friend's property whilst the SO hunted from my blind here at home. I didn't see anything.
The SO on the other hand did. She had a big hog run through - trotting all the way across our property onto the neighbor's place. No shot - but then - she is using a .357 mag single shot rifle. Pretty marginal for a big hog.
I hope to see it today - and I have my. 450 Bushmaster AR-15.
In Michigan - no license is required for hog.
That sucker would fill a freezer.....

Saw a 600+ lb. boar on one of the vet shows last night. Not one I would hunt by my onesies.
