Atheists and health

Atheists and health
Watched recent talk on youtube between 2 atheists - Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris. 2 really smart guys, all of them agrees "if heaven doesn't exist - then we need to truly appreciate our precious life and live like every day is the last"(kinda like that). So - Richard Dawkins has real big health problems recently, i'm sure that he didnt exercise even a day in his life (like any "smart guy" or scientsist" - they all adherents of very old stereotype of "sick, falling apart with time, but smart scientist" - which kinda contradicts with "live fully now" slogan.

Anyway - do sports (don't drink and smoke is not enough) no matter what society thinks  - cause you will suffer at the end of your life if you dont (that prevents you to live fully ofcourse). Strange that such a smart guys like Dawkins ,well anyway. But even if you tell him (or Harris etc) about it - all you'll get is their condescending smile ("ahh what a fool - me and sport? impossible").

I agree, speaking from my blameless perch atop the pinnacle of human health, it's a goddamned travesty that Richard Dawkins hasn't spent every idle minute taking the riptrain to muscletown.

I mean sure, atheists know about how god is bullshit, but have you ever even seen a svelte nutritionist that doesn't believe in god?

Dummies.

I'm actually pretty amazed at the nutritionists I have known. They all pretty much have been grazing on gravy-covered potatoes, from what I've seen. And atheists, when viewed closely, resemble imperfect people, too- they just don't believe in a god- that's their "problem". Richard Dawkins is also 79 years old, atm. Sam Harris- Hey OP, what are his health problems? I smell an xtian.

Even the fittest, healthiest people get sick and get old.

Are you trying to stereotype or do you actually know Dawkins doesn't exercise?

I suspect the former.

Pff. We all know he does lots of mental gymnastics. It's how people get smart...depending on which smarts they use. It's a circular thing. Yeah, it's been a long day.

RE: Atheists and health
Atheism is not a philosophy, a way of life, a lifestyle or a religion. Athiests do not share any morals, ethics or conform to a set of rules or laws.

They simply don't believe in that silly "god" shit that fools subscribe to.
