Why, do you think, is it difficult to find surgeons or therapists willing to cosign this thing you've contended to be a compassionate treatment for unwell people?

It's not—behavioral and cognitive change is the whole purpose of therapy. Consider that over half of individuals with Dissociative Identity Disorder have alternate personalities of the opposite sex; the role of therapy here is to reintegrate an otherwise shattered identity. And given how contentious sex reassignment surgery is in dysphoria, what is perhaps difficult to find is a therapist who thinks people should never be allowed to have a cognitive alternative.

Sure, behavioral and cognitive change is the whole purpose of therapy.... and why..then, do you think, it's hard to find anyone to cosign on non binary gender conversion therapy as a compassionate treatment for unwell people?

Gender has been one of the most contentious topics of the past decade, and you think its hard to find psychologists that disagree with the prescribed narrative lol? Insofar as there is any controversy with what I have said, the issue is likely to be political not scientific.
Isn't Grandizer a clinical psychologist? Bring him on and lets have the discussion.

This still doesn't answer the question of any therapists we might refer to, willing to cosign in non binary gender conversion therapy. I'm afraid I lack the ability to summon Grand.

Again, trans being an entirely different subject, I am only bringing up trans again to make a brief point. When someone is transitioning, they are required to seek professional psychological help to ensure that they are in the proper frame of mind to undertake the process of aligning their bodies with their minds. That is understandable and acceptable from my perspective. I have never had any issue with trans people, and again the nonbinary concept is a completely separate issue.
That being said, I reiterate that nonbinary is simply someone's personal, albeit unreasonable, choice to be recognized as something outside the biological binary. Which can logically be likened to a harmless self-delusion based more on a growing movement than reality. Do nonbinary people need professional psychological help? I doubt it. Are they still delusional? Absolutely.

Again, "can be compared to" or "can be likened to" proves nothing. You can compare shit to chocolate. You can liken homosexuality to bestiality, and many have. You can liken anything to anything, if you try hard. So what?
Non-binary people can be likened to mixed race people -- "white" and "black" are just useful categories, but children of mixed marriages are neither one nor the other. They can be likened to ambidextrous people. They can be likened to people who are equally happy to eat sushi or empanadas.
So if likening one thing to another is somehow an argument, then non-binary people can be likened to all kinds of good things.
