We’re always being told that Jesus died for our sins. If that’s so, he could have written a manifesto and thrown himself under the next passing oxcart - the results would have been the same.

So, if God created this discord, he didn’t manage to achieve any greater good by doing so, and we’re left with the conclusion that God creates discord for its own sake. That’s kinda nutty. You should expect better from your Supreme Being.

You're assuming He didn't? I've read some texts that sound like they could've been written by Jesus.

No one has ever found anything written by Jesus. No one has ever found anything that might have been written by Jesus.

What have you read that makes you think it could have been written by Jesus? And what makes you think it was?

And you dodged my question.

Orator, not author. Notice that even in magic book he's always speaking to the multitudes - not scribbling away by oil-light?

I heard that john said jesus told phil........... Jerkoff
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Since Jesus' death, people are more compassionate and understanding (in general). Only free will explains why not everyone is more compassionate and understanding.

There is no evidence of this

Why do you think that?  Either thing...really.

Jesus' sacrifice sent a spiritual impulse into the world, that made it so future generations would be more compassionate and understanding.

That's not what I asked you - you dodged my questions again. This is getting a little same-y.
