About a year ago I was disappointed that the bird feeder I put outside my office/sewing room window was being ignored by the birds. Now I have to fill it twice a day!

The government must use special criteria in hiring IT people. Their web services are consistently the most buggy and unreliable on the internet.

As cringey as it is to stick up for Texas in any way...the Comptroller's office updated the website that I use to pay sales tax for the company I work for. I was filled with dread when I got the notification that they were revamping it. Then I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it really is an upgrade and works very well. It's much more user friendly. Not sure how that happened.

In my Walmart order, between ground pepper, special restaurant grind pepper, and whole peppercorns for my grinder, I spent $13 on pepper. Who knew I liked pepper so much? I sure didn't.
