Go to settings then to profiles, then passwords. You will see a list of websites that you have saved your password for. Find the website name and it will list your user name for that site. Then will be your password but it will be a series of dots. Next to that is a little symbol that looks like and eye, click on that and it will ask for your computer passcode. Once you enter that code it will show you the last password you saved for that site and user name.
It's probable that other browsers use words a little different from that but it's basically the same steps to find out you password. That is if you said to save it when the popup came up that asked if you want to save it.
I’ll bet whatever you like that he doesn’t know his computer passcode.

Yes I did click on "forgot password". And the codes it sent me still would not let me reset my password.
It's not possible for another person to use the same Twitter user name as you. These have to be unique. If someone else is using your username, you've been hacked.
And why aren't you using a password manager, like Lastpass, or at least saving your passwords in your browser?
Why is it so?

(This post was last modified: October 5, 2021 at 9:20 am by Brian37.)
I've tried several times to ask for a new password, and 4 times it sent me a new code, but when I got to my page, it didn't ask me for a conformation code, it asked me to log in as if I didn't need a password, now Twitter keeps telling me I have to wait because of "suspicious activity".
I really hate big businesses that do not have call centers so you can have a live person walk you through the problem. Even my local cable company has people I can talk to live, even after hours to get help. In fact, I forgot my local email through my cable company, and got that password reset so I could have Twitter send me a new code to my local cable email.
Twitter keeps dumping me to the standard log in as if I knew my password, then when I try too many times it tells me to wait. I am stuck in a fucking loop.

The entire reason I got in this mess yesterday was because Facebook Crashed, and I stupidly thought I got hacked on Facebook. Normally when you get a slowdown, or hiccup, clearing your cache and cookies and history clears things up. In my case it also erased my password history too. Fortunately for me I remember the password for this site and Facebook, but not Twitter. Now I cant log back into my Twitter account.
Occasionally a cookie will reset my browser from Google to Yahoo, and I will have to go to my settings and switch it back.
If I had simply done nothing and waited, I wouldn't be in this mess. I panicked and assumed the worst. And that made it worse.

Omg. Is Twitter sending you a "confirmation" code or a temporary password? Did you even try the thing they sent you in the password box?
Like, this, your troubles, 37, are triggering me.

Yes I did. but when I click on the link in the email, it sends me to the standard log in as if I didn't forget my password. Like I said, I am stuck in a loop.

No. I'm saying, did they send you a temporary password?
Like, a jumble of letters and numbers?
When you went to the login page did you put the jumble of letters and numbers they sent you into the password box and try using it to log in?

Whether it is or it isn't, I'm out. I can't. Not today, Zurg.

Yes 4 times. But again, each time, it doesn't send me to a security code question box, it sends me to the standard log in field as if I didn't forget my password.
