This can be any genre. But basically anything that scared the shit out of you.

I can remember as a kid and a teen, the 3 networks would switch out airing that movie every early spring. Yes, those flying monkeys scared the shit out of me.
When the T-Rex peers into the window of the overturned car in Jurassic Park.

Wiser words were never spoken.
I don't watch horror movies and really never have. I do like some psychological thrillers. There's not a particular scene that gets to me...it's the startle factor that gets me.
My fear of heights carries over to quick movie shots over edges...upper floors, mountains, tall buildings...any sudden shot like that will cause my stomach to lurch.
Not crap my pants but it turned out that The Exorcist was not a good date movie. Left early, had to take her straight home, door slammed in face.
I went back and caught the late show.

I read the book late one night while babysitting. Got the bejesus scared out of me and is a big part of the reason I didn't ever watch the movie or others like it. Over a movie? Unrelated to movies, I once tried to impress a women by putting out a cigarette on my tongue. Now ask me if I got a second date. But back on topic. Yea, that movie scared the shit out of me too. But "The Omen" when the nanny jumped off the roof and hung herself, that too.
The scene in Hereditary (2018) when possessed Annie chases Peter up to the attic. When he closes the door, she batters her head rapidly against it in a way that always tightens my guts. And then...when she has the piano wire and starts to saw at her own neck, the look on her face is bowel-loosening.
Probably a little known movie but "Nurse 3D" had some wincing moments for me. The part where she tricks the doctor to a potential tryst in the hospital morgue, then drugs him, binds him up on a table, then cuts him open and saws off his arm.
